The Stork Sunrise Raw Organic Cotton Hoodie by Disorder, is a slow fashion, sustainable garment.  The inspiration for this image comes from our travels around Asia, in particularly Burma. The design also has its roots in Japanese Kitsch, Buddhist mythology and the British punk movement.

The Stork Sunrise’s began life as a sketch on one of our trips to Myanmar.  As the design took shape, I fused classical Japanese composition with a British twist. Coincidently, the design coincided with the birth of our son, which gave it added importance and meaning.

The Stork Sunrise Raw Organic Cotton Hoodie is a slow fashion product, as it is a limited edition print on an organic cotton hoodie. It is certified sustainable, carbon neutral and we only print it to order. This helps reduce unnecessary clothing waste and ensures you receive a unique slow fashion garment.  This might mean it takes us a little longer to get the garment to you, but makes it all the more special when you receive it.

All of the garments in Disorder’s apparel range are hand printed by our award winning team in Birmingham, England. We use local suppliers as often as we can, because we believe in reinvesting in our community. Disorder only use water soluble inks, that are certified non toxic and therefore don’t damage the environment. We are always trying to improve the quality and reduce the environmental impact of our designs.

In fact, we are ideologically opposed to fast fashion and all the damage it causes  environmentally and socially. Therefore, it follows that we make a t-shirt, about caring for the environment, from organic cotton.  This hoody is also carbon neutral.  We print the Propaganda Raw Cotton Hoodie in the UK, to order. This helps to minimise clothing waste. We also use one of Britain’s most sustainable printers to print our garments.

300 GSM, 85% organic ringspun combed cotton, 15% recycled polyester. Terry sweatshirt. Set-in sleeve. Lined hood in single Jersey. Round draw cords in matching body colour with metal tipping. Herringbone tape at inside back neck and at inside of zipper. Metal zipper and eyelets. Covered zipper at centre front. Self-fabric half-moon at back neck. 1×1 rib at sleeve hem and bottom hem. Flatlock topstitch on all seams. Kangaroo pocket with flatlock topstitch. Unisex, medium fit, long sleeve, round-neck with hood.  Fabric washed, light sueded. Vegan certified. Fairwear Foundation certified. Oeko-Tex certified. Wash at 30°. Bleaching no. Ironing 110°. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean.
