The Koi Kimono Raw Organic Hoodie is an original design hand painted by Disorder. Every Hoodie is unique,as we hand finish each one. The Hoodie is certified sustainable, carbon neutral and made from organic cotton. We design and make the Koi Kimono Raw Hoodie in our Birmingham, UK studio.

The idea for the Koi Kimono Raw Organic Hoodie came from a chance encounter in Mandalay. While sketching some Koi Carp swimming around a pool,  a woman’s reflection appeared in the water. As Thiris reflection moved across the waters surface it merged with the Koi. Fusing this tranquil Burmese scene with Japanese manga the Koi Kimono was born.

This Hoodie is a slow fashion garment which we hand paint to order, in our Birmingham, UK studio. We individually hand paint this Hoodie after you order it, as this helps reduce unnecessary clothing waste. Furthermore, this ensures you receive a unique, one off, slow fashion garment. Slow fashion means things take a little longer as we take more care and attention making them. Moreover, this means it will take a little longer to get the garment to you, but makes it all the more special when you receive it.

It is important to value the clothing we design and make. Therefore, we design and make our clothing to last. Slow fashion means we take more care and attention to make our garments, so that you wear and love them over and over again.

All of the garments in Disorder’s apparel range are printed by our expert team in Birmingham, England. We use local suppliers as often as we can, because we believe in reinvesting in our community. When printing we only use water soluble inks, that are certified non toxic and therefore don’t damage the environment. Finally, Disorder is always trying to improve the quality and reduce the environmental impact of our designs.
