The Stork Sunrise Blue Cotton Hoodie by Disorder, is a slow fashion, sustainable garment.  The inspiration for this image comes from our travels around Asia, in particularly Burma. The design also has its roots in Japanese Kitsch, Buddhist mythology and the British punk movement.

The Stork Sunrise began life as a sketch on one of our trips to Myanmar.  As the design took shape, I fused classical Japanese composition with a British twist. Coincidently, the design coincided with the birth of our son, which gave it added importance and meaning.

The Stork Sunrise Blue Cotton Hoodie is a slow fashion product, as it is a limited edition print on a cotton hoodie.  We only print it to order. This helps reduce unnecessary clothing waste and ensures you receive a unique slow fashion garment.  This might mean it takes us a little longer to get the garment to you, but makes it all the more special when you receive it.

All of the garments in Disorder’s apparel range are hand printed by our award winning team in Birmingham, England. We use local suppliers as often as we can, because we believe in reinvesting in our community. Disorder only use water soluble inks, that are certified non toxic and therefore don’t damage the environment. We are always trying to improve the quality and reduce the environmental impact of our designs.

In fact, we ideologically reject fast fashion because of the environmental and social damage it causes. We print the Stork Sunrise Cotton Hoodie in the UK, to order. This helps to minimise clothing waste. We also use one of Britain’s most sustainable printers to print our garments.

• Crafted from 85% ringspun combed cotton and 15% recycled polyester
• Lined hood in single jersey
• Set-in sleeves
• Round draw cord in matching body color with metal tipping
• Herringbone tape inside the back neck and zipper
• Metal zipper and eyelets
• Covered zipper at the center front
• Self-fabric half-moon at the back neck
• 1×1 ribbing on sleeve and bottom hems
• Flatlock topstitching on all seams and the kangaroo pocket
